My research into my Grandfather's story during the Great War led me to the 25th July 1918. This page is in memory of all Grandad's comrades who took part in the action on that day and who, not being as lucky as him, were killed or died of their wounds shortly afterwards. 8th Battalion, The London Regiment, "The Post Office Rifles"

They shall not grow old, as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
